Toenail Wedge Resection

Ingrown toenail is a common condition that can cause pain and infection to the sides of your toe. You can encourage the toenail to grow out properly but cutting your nail in a V-shape or by taping back the sides with sticky plaster/a bandaid. When these treatments fail, part of the nail can be surgically removed. Please speak to the doctors about this procedure.

Iron Infusions

Low iron levels can cause you to feel tired, drained, breathless or dizzy. Not everyone can tolerate oral iron supplements due to gastrointestinal side-effects like nausea, abdominal pain/bloating or constipation. Iron infusions bypass the gut all together and may be a good option for you. Book an appointment to discuss the benefits/risks of an iron infusion in your particular situation.

Q-Fever

Q-Fever is transmitted to people through contact with infected livestock and wild animals, or via products or excrements from these animals. You will require 2 separate appointments 7 days apart. The first appointment is for the Q-fever skin test and blood test, followed by an appointment 1 week later for review of the results and vaccination if it is needed.
