Fees and Cancellation Policy
Our practice offers bulk billing for all eligible consultations to residents with a valid health care/pension or DVA card and children under 16 years old from Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:45pm. Medicare card holders are otherwise required to pay a small gap fee as per the table below. Please note you are required to pay the full fee upfront first. Your Medicare rebate can then be processed and deposited directly back into your bank account.

Mental Health Care Plan Fees
Mental Health Care Plan are bulk-billed for patients with a valid health care/pension or DVA card and children under 16 years old from Mon - Fri: 8am - 4:45pm. A $25 gap will occur for appointments made from 5pm onwards and on Saturday's/weekends.
Patients who hold a Medicare Card only will incur a $45 gap fee.

Q-Fever Vaccination Fees
You will require 2 separate appointments 7 days apart. The first appointment is for the Q-fever skin test and blood test, followed by an appointment 1 week later for review of the results and vaccination if it is needed.

Booking Appointments
Standard appointments are up to 20 minutes. Double appointments are up to 40mins long. You may require a longer/double appointment for consultations relating to 2 or more health concerns, a complex health problem, emotional/mental health counselling or when seeking a second opinion.
Due to an increase in no-show appointments, we may require a deposit of $45 to secure your booking as a new patient. This amount will be deducted from your bill during your first consultation. If you are bulk-billed, we will issue a full refund to back to your account after your first consultation.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
Our doctor is generally well booked in advance of the day and often it is difficult for sick or distressed patients to get an appointment on the day.
If you are unable to make an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible to free up the appointment slot for other patients. If you do not attend an appointment or fail to notify us at least 4 business hours prior to your appointment time (without a reasonable explanation), a cancellation fee of $45 is required to be paid before you are able to book another appointment. This fee is not rebated by Medicare.
